It is in the product and you can use it today, but it is still changing and we would not put a plant decision on it yet. Tell us what it gets wrong and that shapes what comes next.

Your data, your key

The assistant runs against the provider you choose and the key you supply. Nothing is sent anywhere you have not configured.

It reads, unless you say otherwise

The chat panel answers questions. Anything that writes stays off until an administrator enables it, and then only within the permissions the person already has.

A short list, not the whole system

The assistant can reach a curated set of things. It is not pointed at everything and asked to behave.

Your own tools can ask too

A built-in MCP server lets an engineer’s own AI tools read the line through the same permissions.

Beta, and labelled as such. It is useful for the question you would otherwise have to build a screen to answer.
